Overview:
Before reading the trip description below; know that we, from Entre Orejas, have been riding from Northern Patagonia in Chile and Argentina to the entire south of Patagonia in both countries and even to Tierra del Fuego for many many years. All of Patagonia is beautiful, but believe us, no region can match the beauty and scenic spectacle of southern Chilean Patagonia and more specifically the Torres del Paine region. And that is precisely why we only organize 1 ride in Patagonia in only 1 region in Patagonia, ...in the one and only most beautiful place Torres del Paine!
The beauty of Patagonia is hard to describe, SPECTACULAR would be the word if we had to use one! Patagonia is one million square kilometers of untamed wilderness!
Few other places on earth are that huge and that rugged! The climate and the scenery one encounter but also the adventure one experiences on this ride is hallucinating! Rugged and untamed, doesn’t that sound like the ideal riding destination?! Yes, we take you on one hell of a riding holiday to the most beautiful place in the world; TORRES DEL PAINE in Chilean Patagonia!
Riding your Chilean Criollo horse, you will be dazzled by seeing the blue peaks of Torres del Paine, by the majestic glaciers, lakes, whitewater rivers, snow covered mountains and fjords.
You will meet and ride with the Patagonian gauchos, gallop in vast pampas on endless sheep farms, spend nights in cozy country houses and even one night in tents on the wild side, where you will fall asleep next to the campfire and wake up watching the Andes condor flying above your head. In other words, breathtaking views and a unequal equestrian experience await you at the end of the world!
You will spend 8 days in Patagonia of which 6 days in the saddle, ride through the National Park of Torres del Paine following the Serrano river and be amazed by the extreme beauty of this area. On average you will be riding 7 hours per day on strong and courageous horses and will soon discover that they are a pleasure to ride with. And last but not least, the Adventure starts and ends in the town of Puerto Natales. Located north of the Magellan region and located between the Pacific Ocean and Argentine territory, Puerto Natales has a wonderful geography of uneven reliefs, valleys, fjords, archipelagos and the mysterious white of the ice fields. An Alaska kind of town with a Latin flavor...a great town to stay for a few days and a good base to visit other places in the region before or after our adventurous trail ride.
