Follow the Hoofprints of Legends Through Pakistan’s Untamed Beauty

Overview

Overview:

Step into a world of elegance, adventure, and untamed landscapes as you embark on a horseback journey through Pakistan’s hidden treasures. This exclusive ride takes you across the ancestral lands of the Noon family, offering a rare blend of aristocratic tradition, thrilling equestrian experiences, and the warm hospitality of rural Punjab. From the banks of the legendary Jhelum River to the historic city of Lahore, this is a ride like no other—sporty, wild, and steeped in history.

Your journey begins at the magnificent Nurpur Noon Estate, a family seat for centuries, where the blend of Mughal architecture and colonial equestrian charm welcomes you into a bygone era. This is no ordinary riding holiday—this is an invitation to experience the heritage and traditions of Pakistan’s elite horsemen. Your hosts, Bertie Alexander and Taimur Noon, both passionate horsemen, will guide you through an adventure that combines high-paced riding, cultural immersion, and moments of pure luxury.

A highlight of this ride is the three-day mobile safari, tracing the hoofprints of Alexander the Great’s legendary steed, Bucephalus. Ride through the vast river plains, gallop along sandy banks, and swim with your horse in the mighty Jhelum. By night, camp under the stars, surrounded by lanterns, as drummers set the rhythm for an unforgettable evening around the bonfire. You’ll also have the chance to experience beach polo on the river islands, test your skills in tent pegging, and take part in the ancient hunting traditions of the Peshawar Vale Hunt.

The ride continues into the Salt Range mountains, where you’ll navigate rugged trails to discover a hidden waterfall and explore a working rock salt mine. Along the way, immerse yourself in Pakistan’s rich culture—meet desert snake charmers, visit bustling village markets, and enjoy traditional feasts at local farms. At Nurpur Noon, challenge yourself on the family’s private polo pitch, take a spin with the miniature ponies, or simply relax in the grand estate’s gardens.

The final days bring you to Lahore, a city of vibrant history and exquisite architecture. Stay in one of the city’s finest hotels, dine at exclusive members’ clubs, and explore the ancient Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque. The bustling bazaars offer a chance to shop for intricate handicrafts, handmade rugs, and exquisite jewelry before a farewell feast overlooking the twinkling city skyline.

Throughout the journey, you’ll ride some of the fittest, most forward-going horses in the region, bred for stamina and agility. Expect exhilarating gallops, luxurious accommodations, and a true taste of Pakistan’s regal equestrian culture. With the Noon family’s personal protection team ensuring your safety and comfort, this ride is an extraordinary mix of adventure and refinement, perfect for those who crave a riding holiday unlike any other.
