Exclusive – Private – All in – A la Carte Travel Dates!

Day 1 : Capilla del Señor 

Pick up at the international airport of BUENOS AIRES and we will take a 2-hour private transfer to LA YUNTA DE CRUZ in Capilla de Señor. Juan and Regina our hosts will wait for us with a welcome lunch. In the afternoon we will visit Juan's garage, one or the most important in Argentina, with more than a hundred carriages. Then we will have time to choose the carriages that we will use during the tour and we will do the driving and horse test.

Dinner  in La Yunta de la Cruz.

Day 2 : Capilla del Señor to Villa Lia

 We will have breakfast and leave in a 20-minute transfer to the point where the carriages will be waiting for us.

We will start the journey of 30 kms towards Castex bridge during the journey we will make a post to change horses and then we will arrive to meet the field kitchen and have lunch. After a rest and change of horses we continue towards Villa Lia for other 17 kms , a picturesque traditional Argentine town where we will spend the night in a house that works as a hotel, in the afternoon we will have time to walk through the small town.

Day 3 :  Villa Lia to Alsina

We will have breakfast at the hotel and leave in the carriages towards Cañada Honda, a journey of 26 kms, where the field kitchen will be waiting for us. After resting and changing horses we will head to 23 km to Estancia Santa Helena, a traditional country ranch on the Baradero river. where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Alsina to Branc

After breakfast we headed to El Torito in a journey of 23 kms, a traditional grocery store with more than 200 years of history and on the royal road where we will have lunch. After the break we return to Portela a journey of 19 kms and we will arrive at the Branch a country bowling alley and there we will spend the night in country houses.

Day 5 :  Branch to School

We left the branch to make a journey of 20 kms to Beladrich, another traditional bowling alley on the Camino Real. After lunch have a  20 kms drive and we will spend the first night in the field cabins, a comfortable mobile hotel companion to the field kitchen. Dinner and night at the post.

Day 6 : Post to the Indian

This day we will have only half a day of carriages of 30 kms to a ranch where we will leave the cars and take a transfer of 20 kms to San Antonio de Areco, an important town in the Argentine tradition. After checking in at the hotel we will have lunch in a restaurant and in the afternoon we will visit the Parque Criollo museum and the Las Lilas carriage museum as well as traditional saddlery and silverware. We will have dinner in a traditional restaurant .

Day 7 : Areco to Monastery

After breakfast we will take a transfer back to meet the carriages and leave for the monastery of San Pablo de la Cruz. In a journey of 20 kms having lunch on the fish road to end our tour in a historic monastery of more than 200 years where we will say goodbye to the horses and carriages. We will take a one hour transfer to La yunta de cruz where we will have a traditional farewell barbecue and our last night. Presentation of traditional music and dance of the region.

 

Day 8 : Capilla del Señor

Breakfast and demonstration and tying of the largest carriage in the world the Chata Cajon. Farewell lunch.  Transfer to the airport or Buenos Aires.
